It seems that Fusion HQ has a rather simple way of setting up a PayPal payment system and then easily integrating it with the drag-and-drop site builder. So this is what I’d like to discuss today.

Now, I know it was never particularly difficult to set up your average PayPal button on your website in the first place. It’s easy enough to do for someone with even the most basic knowledge of html.

Of course, Fusion HQ is most appealing to people who have little to no experience in coding (and maybe those of us who do know some code, but given the option, would prefer to do it the lazy man’s way).

Ok, so how does it all work?

Using the “Process Wizard” I am asked to create the payment plan for my product. I have different types of options to suit physical or digital products, or even a subscription (with an optional trial period).

If you choose to use a one time payment, you merely set the sale price, and it’s all done. For a pricier product you may want to split the product into say four more manageable payments. For instance, your $2000 product could be split into four $500 monthly installments.

Now let’s say that I have created an online training program that I would like to offer as a paid monthly subscription. I can set a plan that will charge the customer a set price every month (or weeks or days) indefinitely, or until they cancel their subscription.

The beauty of it is that you are free to use any one of these payment options, or any combination of the three if you like to give your customers more options. You’re even given the option to set a “free trial period” before starting to charge the customer.

Then when it comes to building the site, all you have to do is drag a “Buy Now” button (don’t worry, you can change what the button says later) over to the page.

When you drag the button over, you will be able to choose which product and which payment plan you would like the button to be connected with. You can also change the appearance of the button.

Using a basic sales page template allows you to insert multiple buttons for up to three different sales processes per page. While other site types allow you to use more, I think three should be more than enough for your average sales page.

After that you can remove, add and change pages as much as you like and Fusion HQ will adjust all of the button links for you. Which means you don’t have to worry about the hassle of re-pasting code onto new pages.

A common problem with PayPal buttons was that when you change the links or pages, the PayPal button stops working. Fusion HQ solves this without having to know one single line of code.

Now that’s what I like to hear :)

Fusion HQ for Split Testing

By · Comments (0)

Another great function of Fusion HQ is the simple split-test utility.

I am a firm believer in split-testing, and think it’s very important for improving conversions. I like to constantly improve my sales materials with new, updated marketing strategies.

The reason most people don’t like split-testing is because it can be quite  boring and time consuming to set up. And when you’re doing it for the first time, it can often be very confusing.

Normally, to set up a split-test, you would have to create 2 separate files – one for the original page, and the other for your variation page. You then have to upload each of those to your hosting.

This is where things start to get complicated..

You then have to create a split-test campaign with one of the confusing analytic software providers.

They then give you a code to copy and paste into specific areas of your pages (and if you mess it up here, it all goes wrong).

You will need to paste some code onto each of the two pages, as well as on the success page.

And finally, after all that, you’ll get your statistics.

Fusion HQ makes this same process far easier..
Copy A to B button
You create the original sales page using the quick and easy drag-and-drop system. Then, simply click the “Copy A to B” button.

This button allows you to completely copy every single aspect of your original sales page with just one click! Then you are free to make any content or aesthetic changes that you want.

Direct Upload button Once you are done, you only have to click the upload button once, and both variations will be uploaded to separate pages.

The split test is now setup. Easy as that.

Now when someone visits the site, it randomly selects which version that person sees. I can then easily see all the stats of which variation is better in Fusion HQ. As time goes on, and statistics start to build, all you have to do is go back to the site builder to check your stats.

And it’s as easy as that – no codes necessary and it’s done in seconds!

Fusion HQ – What is it?

By · Comments (0)

Before I jump into any reviews, I thought it might be a good idea to just start off by giving some background info into Fusion HQ and what it’s all about.

For those of you who don’t already know, Fusion HQ is a new online ’software’ type of platform that allows you to easily build and upload websites. It’s being branded as the “1 click online marketing solution”, and as far as I’ve been able to tell so far, it seems to live up to its promise.

It allows you to build anything from basic sales process pages, through to membership sites, and even create affiliate campaigns for your products.

Fusion HQ mainly appeals to people with little to no experience in website creation, as it requires absolutely no knowledge of any coding. But if you do prefer to use html code, it also includes a html editor for your own custom coding.

What I found interesting was not the lack of coding, but HOW you can build sites without it.

The platform incorporates a drag-and-drop system that allows you to easily position all the different elements of a web page as you please. You can insert things like text fields, buttons, images, and opt-in boxes and rearrange them as often as you want. So for example, if you place an image somewhere on the page, and then decide you’d like to move it elsewhere, no more cut-and-pasting of code or deleting and re-inserting the image manually – you just drag it to the new position you would like it to be and it’s done.

Each of the elements are customizable in terms of appearance – such as colors, sizes, fonts, etc – and also text – eg. writing a custom message in your opt-in box.

Buttons are not quite as easy to customize, however they do offer a selection of pre-made buttons. If you’d like others to choose from, it is very simple to create your own image, then just upload it for use as a button, with all the linking automatically done for you.

So that was a general overview of the most basic functions of Fusion HQ. More on all the other features to come!
